2004-2005 ELECTION RESULTS

The annual nomination and election process for seats on the 2004 – 2005 Board of Directors 

and venues for the 2005 State Tournament sites ended on Monday, April 19 at Noon.  

The results of the election have been certified as follows:

Total Votes Cast in Statewide Election:     33

Vice President/Operations:  Terri St. John, Sarasota HS   33 votes (100%)

Treasurer:  Tucker Curtis, Miami Country Day School   32 votes (97%)

Secretary:  E. Dianne Campbell, North Miami Beach HS   33 votes (100%)

State Championship Tournament (March 4 - 5, 2005):  Lake Brantley HS 30 votes (91%)

Novice State Tournament (April 22 - 23, 2005):  Winter Springs HS 32 votes (97%)

Total Votes Cast in All Regional Elections:  32 

(1 invalid ballot--1 school voted for a Regional Director outside its own region)

Panhandle:  4 votes cast     Gina Southerland, Maclay School   4 votes (100%)

Timacuan:   7 votes cast     Rob Carraway, Lake Brantley HS 7 votes (100%)

Gulf Coast:  5 votes cast    Wayne London, Barron Collier HS   4 votes (80%)

Macaw:  3 votes cast         Dorothy Checa Chong, Spanish River HS  3 votes (100%)

Art Deco:  7 votes cast      Mary Schick, Michael Krop HS 7 votes (100%)

Hurricane:  6 votes cast     Beth Goldman, JP Taravella HS  7 votes (100%)

New terms begin on June 1, 2004.
