2005-2006 ELECTION RESULTS The annual nomination and election process for seats on the 2005 – 2006 Board of Directors and
venues for the 2006 State Tournament sites ended on Tuesday, April 12 at Noon. The results of
the election have been certified as follows:
Total Votes Cast in Statewide Election: 35

--Kathi Wells, Winter Springs HS: 24 votes (69%) ***
--Paul Gaba, Wellington HS: 7 votes (20%)
--Abstain: 4 votes (11%)
Secretary
--E. Dianne Campbell, North Miami Beach HS: 31 votes (89%) ***
--Abstain: 4 votes (11%)
State Championship Tournament
--Western HS (Nancy Dean, Coach): 28 votes (80%) ***
--Abstain: 7 votes (20%)
Panhandle Region (6 eligible schools voted)
--Sean Luechtefeld, Leon HS: 3 votes (50%) ***
--Denese Rigby, Niceville HS: 2 votes (33%)
--Pat Thomas, CW Ruckel MS: 1 vote (17%)
Gulf Coast Region (6 eligible schools voted)
--Cindy Gomez, Lely HS: 6 votes (100%) ***
Art Deco Region (8 eligible schools voted)
--Mary Schick, Michael Krop HS: 7 votes (87.5%) ***

Newly elected officers will begin their terms on June 1, 2005 and finish on June 1, 2007.
