Election Procedures/Rules

Voting Begins:    Wednesday, October 31 @ Noon

Voting Closes:    Thursday, November 15 @ Noon

Schools with a finalized membership from 2006-2007 may cast a ballot in this election.  The only person who is authorized to cast the school's ballot is the person listed as the Head Coach on the school's most recent membership application.  The email address submitted must match the one listed on the school's most recent membership application.  All votes that are received will be confirmed by email to the address listed on the school's registration form.  Please allow up to 72 hours for confirmation of a ballot.


Issues on the Ballot

There are 7 items on the ballot.  The proposals are explained here:

1.  Download & print this file--1 page!  Overview of Proposals:  Provides a brief description of the action taken in each proposal.  This list is in the same order that will appear on the actual ballot.  Thus, you can use it to make notes on how you want to vote on each proposal.  

2.  Download & read this file--lengthy!  Detailed Proposals:  Shows the actual text of the bylaws and standing rules that will be changed.   It includes a pro and (sometimes) a con statement for each proposal.  You should open this file and read it, but use the overview page to note how you want to vote on each item.  


All 7 proposals on the FFL Fall 2007 Ballot were passed by the membership.

Here is the break down of the voting of the membership for each proposal. There were 23 member schools ballots cast.

Proposal 1: 14-7-2

Proposal 2: 15-7-1

Proposal 3: 20-3

Proposal 4: 16-4-3

Proposal 5: 21-2

Proposal 6: 16-7

Proposal 7: 12-11
